Yoga is a practice with movements and postures that aim to improve flexibility, mobility and balance. This means the ability to move without restriction, with precision over wide a range of motion while maintaining control over your body. Focus on breathing is a part of the practice as it helps the mind and the body to focus and relax, which improves stretching and balancing movements.
Yoga at CrossFit Twente is tailored to support the CrossFit classes. We practice optimal breathing technique for sports and as well for relaxation, since optimal recovery is a key for improving your fitness. The movements target to increase your flexibility, mobility and body awareness needed at CrossFit. Each class has a focus, for example, stretching certain muscle group or practicing balance postures and movements. You are welcome to join whether you are a newer athlete or more experienced, the exercises will be tailored to your ability and needs.
