Yoga is a practice with movements and postures that aim to improve flexibility, mobility and balance. This means the ability to move without restriction, with precision over wide a range of motion while maintaining control over your body. Focus on breathing is a part of the practice as it helps the mind and the body to focus and relax, which improves stretching and balancing movements.
Yoga at CrossFit Twente is tailored to support the CrossFit classes. We practice optimal breathing technique for sports and as well for relaxation, since optimal recovery is a key for improving your fitness. The movements target to increase your flexibility, mobility and body awareness needed at CrossFit. Each class has a focus, for example, stretching certain muscle group or practicing balance postures and movements. You are welcome to join whether you are a newer athlete or more experienced, the exercises will be tailored to your ability and needs.

On June 13th & 14th, we’re organizing the 24-hour AMRAP for charity once again. After raising nearly €3000 for suicide prevention last year, we want to come together again to raise awareness for mental health. 💛
This event means a lot to us, as we lost a beloved member of our community 2 years ago. Through this challenge, we want to support one another and create more awareness around mental health.
During the event, teams will complete as many reps as possible of a specific exercise every hour for 24 hours straight. Everyone at Crossfit Twente is welcome to join, whether for a few hours or the full overnight experience.
This year, signing up is easier through the Crossfit Twente app. You can register for a 2-hour block, join your own team, or we’ll place you in one.
