We teach in two age groups: Kids (9-13 years) and Teens (13-17 years).
With the Kids, the emphasis is on fun, cooperation and self-confidence. For the Teens, the emphasis is on the Crossfit Fundamentals and Workouts. Crossfit Kids given by specifically trained trainers is safe and has no risks of developmental problems.
What do we do with the Kids (9-13yrs)?
With the Kids, the focus is on fun, cooperation and self-confidence. We use derived Crossfit movements such as the squat, pushing and pulling movements, lifting, moving, jumping and interval conditioning forms. This is often in game form. The emphasis is not on performance, but on improvement. Through play, children develop many skills and thus improve in strength, speed, coordination, condition and self-confidence.
What do we do at the Teens (13-17yrs)
Teenagers are physically fit to learn the Crossfit Fundamentals such as Gymnastics, Olympic Weightlifting and Interval Conditioning Training. This is built up in a responsible way because teenagers are still developing. By learning Crossfit Fundamentals and performing workouts, teens become faster, stronger and more confident.
My child is not (yet) very skilled in motor skills. Can he/she participate in the lesson?
Yes, of course. All children can participate. The exercises are adapted per child to his or her level. We perform many exercises side by side and yet we work in groups. Many children progress quickly when they participate in the lesson.
My child has performance anxiety or finds it very exciting to participate. Is Crossfit suitable?
Yes, of course. All children are taken care of by our experienced trainers and can immediately participate in the lesson. They will have positive experiences from the first lesson, which will increase their self-confidence.
At Crossfit Kids, children develop strength, speed, coordination and condition in a safe way. It is not a program aimed at becoming as strong as possible. Training takes place in a responsible manner and the trainers are trained to work safely with children.
At what age can my child join the Teens group?
Based on the physical and socio-emotional development, the age at which the child can join the Teens group is determined together with the child and parents. This will usually be around seventh grade.
My son/daughter is already on a sport. Is Crossfit suitable for doing this on the side?
Yes, of course. At Crossfit we develop strength, coordination, speed and fitness. This is an excellent foundation for any sport.

MURPH – More Than Just a WOD
Every year, we come together as a CrossFit community to take on WOD Murph, a grueling workout that pushes us physically and mentally. But this workout is not just about fitness. It’s about honor, sacrifice, and remembrance.
Lieutenant Michael P. Murphy gave his life in Operation Red Wings while protecting his team. But he wasn’t the only one. In total, 19 soldiers died during that mission. WOD Murph stands not only for him, but for his teammates, and every soldier who gave their life in service to protect our peace and freedom. This workout is our tribute.
Before you take it on, we encourage you to watch the film “Lone Survivor.” It tells the real story behind the names, the mission, and the sacrifice.
Like every year, we will do the workout together on Ascension Day. This year, that’s May 29th. Come and let’s take on this challenge together, with heart, with respect, and as one community.
Murph is more than a community event. It’s a way to honor the fallen. If we do it, we do it right.
